Me, Myself and kai: A work in progress

::rushed::

chance and cathode

my cathode

Agh! I have to leave for work soon but couldn’t wait to get this latest FO photographed. So antsy was I, that I shook Chris awake, handed him the camera and whined at him to take a photo. Then I whined some more because those photos didn’t come out. Then we settled on these two.

Pattern: Cathode (first finished sweater of O8!)

Needles: US 11 for the body US 5 for the ribbing

Yarn: Gedfrida Astrakan for the body, Brown Sheep worsted for the ribbing

Mods: Lengthened the ribbing on the body and shortened the collar

Final verdict: The collar is a little wonky, thus I’m wearing the brooch in the second photo. Still not sure what the final solution will be. Also, I could have lengthened the body just a smidge more (it’s about half an inch shorter than my Wicked, which is the perfect length). Still, it’s a pretty cute sweater considering I made it myself. It’s also perfect for Project Spectrum’s current fire theme.
